The official open Women's Game at Promontory. Run by the Golf Professional Staff, the formats will change and we'll always have fun. 

Women's Day @ The Nicklaus, Wednesday, July 23rd Format: 4 Player Team Shamble

All players on the team hit their tee shots, just like in a Scramble. After all players have hit their tee shots, the team selects the best one. After the best tee shot is selected, each player then plays their own ball from that spot (instead of playing from the best position like in a Scramble). This means every player will continue playing their own ball through the hole, without the team combining shots as in a Scramble. The team’s score for the hole is recorded as the lowest individual score among the players.

We will also be having x2 Closest-To-The-Pin Holes, which are always fun!

A few things to note - however, more complete details to come with our Pairings/Format email:

• This Women's Day Season is more about gaining points through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place finishes, rather than potentially winning individual shop credit amounts each event. Think about end-of-the-year Prizes/Swag as you gained another 5, 3, or 1 points with 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place finishes, respectively! Closest-To-The-Pin and Longest Drive winners will also get 2 points for each win.
  • This year we will NOT have the individual event buy-in of $10.
• BRING YOUR ONE-DOLLAR-BILLS, PLEASE! As we will be starting a new competition: a Chip-In pool. Each week, bring $1 cash, and have a chance to win the whole pot if you hit a shot, from off the green, and it drops in the hole. If no one chips-in that day, the pot will get bigger with the next event!
